Electrician for DP-2 Geotechnical Drilling Vessel

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrician for DP-2 geotechnical drilling vessel

who can also work on Deck/Rig (derrick about 35meters high while at sea/DP operations):

Contract: 8 weeks +/- 1 week (4 weeks initial contract, subject for extension to complete rotation if performance is good)
Travel date: around 19Oct (TBC)
Crew change port: TBA
Has to be fully vaccinated by WHO approved COVID19 vaccine

Desired experience:
Frequency Drives and PLC Programming
Computer Network Set-up / VSAT Systems
Maintenance on project equipment (e.g. drilling, pipe/cable laying, heavy lift vessels)

Compulsory Training/Certificates:
Certificate of Competency (CoC) III/7 at least
STCW Medical,
Seaman’s Book,
Basic Safety (BS),
Security Awareness Training
Good to have trainings:
DP Maintenance,
Working and Rescue at Height
High Voltage
Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF)
Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats (PSCRB),
Designated Security Duties
Engine Room Resource Management
Medical First Aid
