Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to the IS workforce
Proven experience as a subject matter expert in operational infrastructure support and maintenance (including own and cloud data centres) in the oil and gas sector or equivalent, covering systems such server, storage, back-up & recovery, SAAS, PAAS, IAAS and security services
Experience and knowledge of cloud infrastructure services including tooling and security
Understanding of ITIL practices
Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience implementing packages and working with vendors
Cloud Server, Storage & backup and recovery solutions administration including in Azure and AWS environments
Automation of workflows, operational processes, capacity management, and system administration tasks using automation tools for example i.e cli, powershell.
Expertise or good working knowledge of key infrastructure applications, such as Citrix, Virtualisation tools etc.
