Reservoir Engineer for Oil and Gas Project (Aberdeen, UK)

Job Description

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum BSc Hons Degree in Engineering or related discipline (MSc preferred)
Previous experience in the oil industry, including field experience of reservoir monitoring activities (i.e. witnessing DST, wireline logging, perforations)
Understanding of geological and geophysical concepts such as sequential stratigraphy correlations, geophysical interpretation, seismic acquisition and processing.
Understanding of project economics, well construction concepts and hazards, completion operations and design, well lift performance, allocation.
Fully autonomous in reservoir engineering techniques: numerical simulation, well test interpretation, material balance, production logging analysis, PVT analysis, and other company standard reservoir engineering interpretation tools. Understanding of SEC reserves booking.
