Coordinator I- Inventory for Oil & Gas project (USA)

Job Description

Job Summary

Position supports designated Supply Chain groups and operating business units in the coordination and meeting accountabilities for documenting, processing and recording inventory management transactions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Implement and monitor company’s inventory replenishment logic across all rigs
Analyze inventory statistics. This includes performing financial analytics to determine gaps.
Document and report inventory discrepancies.
Produce and analyze regular inventory reports detailing inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
Maintain and improve company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics.
Work closely with storekeepers and rig managers to identify adjustments to each rig replenishment parameters.
Work with the Technical Support teams to determine critical spares and reflect the same in each rig replenishment logic.
Work with the logistic and sourcing team to understand lead times and challenges to transport inventory to company’s rigs worldwide.
Support preparation and implementation of the complete process for ordering, receiving, shipping and put away of inventory for reactivation and spares for new build rigs in the shipyard.
Work closely with the Supply Chain Systems team to understand company’s replenishment logic and systems.
Monitor rig and central spares warehouse inventory values and provide inventory performance information for Quarterly Business Reviews.
Available to travel to company domestic and overseas locations , onshore and offshore, to conduct warehouse and yard inventory audits.
Monitor store keeper transactions in PeopleSoft to ensure compliance with procedures, for example: cycle counts, Viritual Inventory, Intern unit Transfers
Be familiar, support and identify opportunities to improve the virtual inventory process company wide.
Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field is required.
1 to 2 years of relevant Supply Chain experience (preferred).
Experience in oilfield industry (preferred).

Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems.
Physically capable of being transported to an offshore rig by boat or helicopter.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (use financial and logical functions; work with multiple worksheets and workbooks; create and use pivot tables; import and export information).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English. Ability to communicate effectively across different levels of organization, departments as well as across different cultures.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to gather and analyze/synthesize data, confirming its accuracy and adequacy as an integral part of the collective analysis/synthesis process.
