Assistant Mechanic for Semi-submersible Rig (UK)

Job Description

Assistant Mechanic from 4th January for three weeks on board a north sea semi-sub in a UK shipyard.
Job description
Ensure the efficient and continual functioning of all mechanical equipment. 
Carrying out timely preventive maintenance activities and special projects involving mechanical components. 
Planning and implementing projects that include maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment. Instructing, training, providing direction and supervising the Motorman. 
Working in a safe and efficient manner. 
Ensuring work complies with all company rules and regulations.    
Assisting the Electrician with repairs to various motors, refrigeration, air conditioning and freezers/coolers when necessary.  

 
Job requirements
Candidates are required to have previous offshore experience and hold their north sea certs.
