Rigger for Offshore Platform (Abu Dhabi)

Job Description

Sparrows Group are looking for Riggers to join our team in the Abu Dhabi workshop.

This position is open to local hires only.

The successful candidates will be required to work offshore as and when required, perform rigging duties under the direction of nominated personnel and in accordance with the authorised operators’ instructions manual and platform operating procedures, responsible for rigging duties involved in load testing of cranes and lifting equipment to be re-certified and carry out routine checks on lifting equipment in accordance with the maintenance procedures and pre-use checklists.

Candidates must hold a level 2 or 3 rigging certificate, have experience in a similar role and must be able to read and execute lifting plans.
