Welder for Oil and Gas project(Alberta)
Job Description
Contract length: 6 monthsCompetent to weld and performs welding according to the applicable welding procedure specification and/or drawing requirement
Knowledgeable in welding processes particularly GMAW (gas metal arc weld) process
Capable to read welding procedure and interpret drawings requirements
Capable for hand grinding and pre-heat on welds.
Conducts visual and in-process inspections in accordance with industry specifications
Rate: Varies depending on experience
Basic Microsoft office and computer knowledge to perform daily routine task.
Ability to learn SAP and perform system transaction
Ability to OR willing to learn how to operate over head crane, forklifts, and other equipment.
