Job Description:
We are looking for a Chief Engineer (Sole Engineer) to join a busy 45m+ performance sailing yacht with a global cruising and regatta program. The vessel operates with a close-knit, professional crew and offers a supportive, team-focused environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with strong sailing yacht experience who is eager to be part of an active, adventurous itinerary.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Oversee and maintain all engineering systems onboard
• Handle sail systems, including captive and in-boom furling
• Perform engine rebuilds and preventative maintenance
• Maintain safety systems and ensure compliance with regulations
• Actively participate in watchkeeping and support sailing operations

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Y3 equivalent (preferred)
• Prior large sailing yacht experience (essential; motor yacht only experience not suitable)
• Watchkeeping experience (required)
• Confident in sail handling and mechanical systems
• Bonus: Regatta/racing background, diving qualifications

• Salary: €7,000 – €8,000 DOE
• Rotation: Time-for-time
