Job Description:
German Marine Agencies, Inc. is urgently seeking a Chief Officer to join a General Cargo Vessel with an October deployment. The vessel is engaged in international trade routes and offers a stable, professional working environment. Candidates will be expected to support safe navigation, cargo operations, and ensure compliance with international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Safe navigation of the vessel under the Master’s guidance
• Supervision of cargo loading, stowage, securing, and discharging
• Overseeing deck crew operations and maintenance schedules
• Ensuring compliance with ISM, MARPOL, and SOLAS requirements
• Assisting with safety drills and crew training

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief Officer on General Cargo vessels
• Valid passport and seafarer documents (ready for October deployment)
