2nd Engineer for PSV (Asia)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd Engineer (2/E) to join our team on board the Felicity, an Offshore - PSV vessel. As a 2nd Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the vessel's machinery and ensuring its smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in managing and maintaining all machinery and equipment on board the vessel
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the vessel's engines, generators, pumps, and other mechanical systems
- Monitor and control the vessel's fuel consumption and engine performance
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Supervise and train junior engineering staff
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Requirements:
- Valid Certificate of Competency as a 2nd Engineer (2/E)
- Previous experience in a similar role on Offshore - PSV vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and equipment
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work on a rotational basis and travel as required
