Job Description

At the moment we have an opening for the permanent position of 3rd Mate to work in United States.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Candidates must hold the following valid documents:

USCG Merchant Mariner Credential with the following endorsements:
International endorsements capable of foreign voyages:
OICNW (500 GT or More (STCW II/1)
GMDSS Radio Operator (STCW IV/2)
Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW VI/3)
First Aid and Medical Care (STCW VI/4)
Able Seafarer-Deck (STCW II/5),
RFPNW (STCW II/4),
Basic Safety Training (BST) (STCW VI/1),
Proficiency in Survival Craft (PSC) (STCW VI/2),
Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD) (STCW VI/6)
National (Domestic) Endorsements:
Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage upon Oceans
Deck Officer – Radar Observer (Unlimited)
Able Bodied Seaman Unlimited,
Lifeboatman
Tankerman Assistant limited to Dangerous Liquid (DL) Cargoes PIC endorsement.
USCG STCW and National Medical Certificate
TWIC card
U. S. Passport
